As an ex-sales assistant in a bookstore, I know how important it is to support the dying business that is becoming printed books. With iPad's, kindles and websites offering reads at a discounted price less people are visiting the bookstores these days. However, you can't beat the smell of the pages, the colorful, eclectic shelves and the feeling of being surrounded by various authors lives and dreams.
One of my favorite bookstores is Berkelouw, who specialize in second-hand, as well as new items. They also have a beautiful cafe where you can sit with a cut of tea and have a read.
Kinfolk | Women in Clothes | Secret Paris |
I also picked up a second hand copy of Les Miserables as I'm searching for a better quality translation.
Thanks for reading! xx
